A British musical based on the Cinderella fairy tale. Chamberlain is Prince Edward of Euphrania, who is being forced to marry a princess in order to form an alliance between his and the princess`s countries to stave off an impending war. Enter Cinderella, who, after being granted one night of happiness by her fairy godmother, meets and falls in love with the prince at a ball, but, of course, has to leave before midnight, leaving the prince with only a glass slipper as a clue to his new love`s identity.
