A darling of international film festivals, the movie is the story of a depressed and bipolar woman named Katie (PARIS, TEXAS beauty Nastassia Kinski), and her strained relationship with her devoted young son James (Cody Morgan of TV`s EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND). Things begin to improve when James is befriended by a caring former psychiatrist, who attempts to help him and his mother. However, when unexpected violence enters their home, yet another setup threatens to send Katie over the edge for good.
