This sequel to the original SAKURA WARS series picks up where its predecessor left off, following the exploits of the Imperial Flower Combat Troupe. These episodes begin as Captain Ohgami announces his intentions to leave the Troupe, making him the first to formally announce what others are clearly planning. Sakura`s mysterious wedding plans will of course force her to leave, but her reluctance to announce it makes the others think she herself is opposed to the nuptials. When she prepares for the difficult journey home, the other members of the troupe begin a plan to rescue her from a potentially disastrous marriage.
