Ryou Hayakawa is without a doubt the best high school pitcher in Japan, possessing a blistering fastball that will shatter the bat of anyone able to catch up with it. Ryou is also a girl, making her something of an oddity and unfortunately giving her fewer opportunities to play professional ball. However, this changes when Keiko Himuro, the president of a powerful corporation, decides to put together a female baseball team. Selecting Ryou along with two other players and a manager, Keiko charges them with putting together the best female baseball team on the planet. However, Ryou finds that doing so won`t be so easy when Izumi, Keiko`s famous daughter, begins resenting her and one of the best male baseball players in Japan begins to take more than a professional interest in her.
