Though chiefly known stateside as a game for Sony`s PlayStation 2, ORPHEN is actually a series of very popular fantasy novels in Japan which were made into this anime series. The series follows Orphen, a young sorcerer trained at the Fanged Tower, an elite magic school, who has shunned his elders. In these episodes, Orphen continues his search for the dragon Azalie, who has arrived at the mysterious Summit of Moonlight with the nefarious magician Flameheart to rid themselves of Orphen once and for all. Orphen, determined to change Azalie back into human form, prepares for the perils of this confrontation by setting out to find the legendary magician Rox Roe, the only one who can transform her.
