Though chiefly known stateside as a game for Sony`s PlayStation 2, ORPHEN is actually a series of very popular fantasy novels in Japan which were made into this anime series. The series follows Orphen, a young sorcerer trained at the Fanged Tower, an elite magic school, who has shunned his elders. In these episodes, Orphen continues his search for the dragon Azalie, leading he and his compatriots to a mysterious island that seems to collect lost ships. Unfortunately, at the same time, Orphen`s enemies, Volcan and Dortin, have discovered a Golem, a creature that may have the power to destroy Orphen.
