Unknowingly the subjects of government experiments, four genetic mutants band together with Adam Kane, one of the scientists responsible for their transformation. After a change of heart about his role in the experiments, Adam leads the group in secret crime-fighting missions and tries to stop his former partner, Mason Eckhart, from using the genetics project for nefarious ends.
