Best remembered as the spiky-haired lead singer of 1980s new-wave band Til Tuesday, Aimee Mann went on to toil in obscurity until her solo work on the soundtrack to P.T. Anderson`s 1999 film MAGNOLIA led her to breakthrough success. Mann`s achingly lovely vocals and shamefully underrated songwriting skills are on fine display in this June 2004 concert, which was recorded at St. Ann`s Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to backstage interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, Mann`s performance includes live renditions of pop gems such as 4th of July, Stupid Thing, Long Shot, Amateur, Save Me, and many more.
