Based on Judith Krantz`s bestseller, I`LL TAKE MANHATTAN follows Maxi Amberville (Valerie Bertinelli from One Day At A Time) from three-time divorcee to dynamic businesswoman. Set in New York`s pressure cooker world of magazine publishing, Maxi finds that she must abandon her life of wealthy leisure to secure her father`s wealth and family business when her mother decides to wed the brother of her dead husband. The brother only wishes to sell the magazine empire to destroy his brother`s name, but Maxi decides to take him on in the name of honor and revenge.
