Hamtaro, the loveable hamster who has already charmed Japan and become one of its most popular cartoon characters, is introduced to the United States with this first volume of the animated series HAMTARO. These episodes begin when Hamtaro and his owner Laura, a ten year-old girl, move to a new neighborhood. Both owner and hamster find themselves friendless, forcing them to explore their new surroundings and make new friends. Soon, Hamtaro has amassed a gang of hamster friends known as the Ham-Hams who accompany the curious Laura on some amazing adventures.
