Jean Rochefort stars as Victor Frankenstein in this offbeat version of the often told Mary Shelley tale. Here, Frankenstein is a cybernetics genius who creates a monster with an unnatural interest in philosophy and etiquette but is prone to bouts of blind rage. Enamored with his soulful creation, Frankenstein is understanding when his monster develops a longing for a companion. So, Frankenstein and his fianci build him the perfect mate with the corpses of some freshly murdered strippers awakening in the monster some unforeseen desires.
