Trying to improve her skills at reclaiming the powerful Clow Cards, Sakura soon learns that she has a rival, Li Shaoran, who seems to be more proficient than she is, and she finds herself enduring some harsh rebuffs from this competitor. Making matters worse, Meilin Rae, who has her sights set on Li, has just arrived and, thinking that Sakura is a rival for Li`s affections, proceeds to do everything she can to disrupt Sakura.
