Alice Donut London, Theres A Curious Lump in My Sack
N/A Quirky, eccentric, and often silly punk rockers Alice Donut were formed in 1987 in New York`s East Village, and were quickly endorsed by free-speech activist and ex-Dead Kennedys frontman Jello Biafra. They released seven albums of politically-infused hardcore on Biafra`s Alternative Tentacles record label, before an amiable breakup in 1995 saw them going their separate ways. A few members began playing together again casually in the late 90s, and in 2003 they released a very underground reunion cd, THREE SISTERS. LONDON, THERE`S A CURIOUS LUMP IN MY SACK was filmed at a live show in London at the Camden Underworld that took place in July of 2004, and includes bonus footage of the band`s comeback show/ record release party for THREE SISTERS, as well as an interview with the band and three promotional videos. The tracks include included are New Jersey Exit, Mrs. Hayes, She Tells Me Things, Kiss Me, Freaks in Love, Everyone is on Sale, Chicken Door, Bottom of the Chain, Moon Pie, Hang the Dog, Helsinki, and many others.
